Pada hari Jumat Tanggal 26 Februari 2021 Pukul 10.00 Wib dilaksanakan Penandatanganan Prasasti dan Peletakan Batu Pertama Gedung Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh oleh Kakesdam Iskandar Muda.
Turut hadir dalam acara tersebut Kepala Bidang Akademik, Kemahasiswaan dan Sumber Daya LLDikti XIII Wilayah Aceh, Ketua Yayasan WBKH Perwakilan Aceh, Ketua Komite Medik Rumkit Tk II Iskandar Muda, dan Dokter Spesialis Gol IV SMF Rumkit Tk. II Iskandar Muda.
Kakesdam Iskandar Muda Kolonel CKM dr. Ismi Purnawan, Sp.JP (K) MARS, FIHA, dalam amanatnya menyampaikan dengan pembangunan Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh, sudah tentu harus diikuti dengan upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan Kinerja dan Manajemen Pendidikan sebagai Instansi Pendidikan khusunya di Bidang Kesehatan.
Lebih lanjut Kakesdam menyampaikan dari aspek sosial, peningkatan status Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh diharapkan mampu melaksanakan perannya sebagai ujung tombak Kesdam Iskandar Muda dan bagian dari upaya Pemerintah dalam membangun kualitas Tenaga Kesehatan yang lebih baik. selain itu, Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh harus mampu menjadi Perguruan Tinggi yang Handal dan Profesional.
Direktur Akper Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh Ns. Wiwin Haryati, M.Kep dalam sambutannya menyampaikan Syukur Alhamdulillah pada hari ini Pembangunan gedung Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh sudah di mulai dengan peletakan batu pertama oleh Kakesdam Iskandar Muda. Apresiasi yang sangat tinggi kami sampaikan kepada Kakesdam Iskandar Muda yang telah mendukung pembangunan gedung Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh dan bersedia untuk peresmian peletakan batu pertama, semoga pembangunan gedung ini diridhoi oleh Allah SWT. Ucapan terima kasih dan apresiasi yang tinggi juga kami sampaikan kepada LLDIKTI XIII Wilayah Aceh yang telah membantu dan mendukung perubahan alih status Akademi Keperawatan Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh menjadi Politeknik Kesehatan Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh pungkas Direktur.
Acara penandatanganan prasasti dan peletakan batu pertama gedung Poltekkes Kesdam Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh berlangsung dengan khitmat dan diakhiri dengan sesi foto bersama.
